The North Queensland Cowboys have officially re-signed Zac Laybutt, a 21-year-old centre who made his NRL debut last season.
Despite not being in the Cowboys' Top 30, Laybutt managed to appear in four games, including a standout performance with two tries in a victory over The Dolphins.
Originally from Bundaberg, Laybutt joined the Cowboys Young Guns in 2021 and earned his NRL debut in 2023 against the Parramatta Eels.
With his impressive performance, Laybutt has been promoted to the Top 30 for the 2024 and 2025 seasons, solidifying his position within the team.
This re-signing is a testament to Laybutt's potential and the Cowboys' belief in his talent.
