Latrell Mitchell, the South Sydney fullback, is urging everyone to 'move on' from the recent controversy surrounding his use of colorful language on a radio interview.

NRL boss Andrew Abdo has dismissed claims of giving Mitchell special treatment by opting to meet with him instead of imposing a sanction.

Abdo, standing firm in his decision, stated that it would be 'bold' to insinuate that the league was scared to penalize Mitchell for his choice of words.

He emphasized that part of his job as the chief executive is to regularly engage with star players like Mitchell.

During a Triple M radio interview, Mitchell caused a stir by dropping a few choice expletives while discussing the Rabbitohs' defeat to Brisbane.

Despite the backlash, the Rabbitohs' captain, Cameron Murray, played down the incident, acknowledging the pressure of post-game interviews and expressing confidence that Mitchell would choose his words more carefully in the future.

The incident has not only put Mitchell in the spotlight but has also highlighted the struggles of the Rabbitohs on the field.

While the controversy continues to make waves, Mitchell and the team are focused on moving forward and getting back on track in the NRL.
