The Newcastle Knights have officially signed forward Peter Hola on a two-year deal starting from the 2026 NRL season, according to reports from zerotackle.com.
Hola, who was born in Sydney and raised in Auckland, began his NRL journey with the North Queensland Cowboys in 2017.
He progressed through the National Youth Cup and QLD Cup before making his NRL debut with the Cowboys in 2019, having previously played for the Junior Kiwis in 2018.
Despite showing promise early in his career, Hola played only 12 NRL games over three seasons with the Cowboys, concluding his time there at the end of 2021.
He subsequently joined the Canberra Raiders on a two-year contract but only managed to feature in three games for the team.
