In a nail-biting clash that lasted a grueling 90 minutes, the Canberra Raiders suffered a heart-wrenching defeat at the hands of the Knights, losing by a mere two points.

The match, which witnessed three lead changes, reached its climax when the Knights successfully converted a penalty in the 88th minute to secure their victory.

The Raiders got off to a strong start, thanks to some aggressive runs from Zac Woolford and Ata Mariota in the first set.

However, their momentum was disrupted when Hohepa Puru collided with Jacob Saifiti, resulting in a nasty injury and forcing Puru to leave the field due to a Head Injury Assessment (HIA).

Sadly, Puru's Category 1 concussion ruled him out for the remainder of the game, and Emre Guler took his place on the field.

The Knights capitalized on their numerical advantage on the left edge, catching the Raiders off guard and allowing Greg Marzhew to score the first points of the match.
