In a thrilling match at McDonald Jones Stadium, the nib Newcastle Knights emerged victorious with a commanding 29-10 win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs, much to the delight of the sell-out crowd in attendance.

The Knights displayed their exceptional skills and prowess by crossing the try line six times, while the Rabbitohs managed to score only two tries in response.

This remarkable triumph marks the Knights' seventh consecutive victory, a feat that hasn't been achieved by the Club since the 2001-2002 season.

The match commenced with great excitement as the packed stadium witnessed an impressive home crowd attendance of 29,018, the largest since 2012.

Both teams paid tribute to the late Kyle Turner, a former Rabbitohs player who tragically passed away earlier in the week.

The Knights wasted no time in asserting their dominance, as Greg Marzhew swiftly found his way to the try line, putting his team in the lead within the first five minutes of the game.
