Knights and Tigers tackle a new battleground at Leichhardt

NRLW match moved from Campbelltown to Leichhardt

In a surprising turn of events, the Wests Tigers Round Nine NRL Telstra Women's Premiership match against Newcastle Knights has been relocated from Campbelltown Sports Stadium to Leichhardt Oval.

The decision to move the match was made in order to prioritize the safety of both the spectators and players due to the poor air quality in the Campbelltown area.

This poor air quality is a result of recent controlled back burning, which has rendered the conditions unsuitable for the game to take place at the original location.

However, the game will still kick off at the scheduled time of 7:45pm, with gates opening at 7:15pm.

Fortunately, fans who have already purchased tickets for the match will not need to exchange them, as all original tickets will still be valid for entry to Leichhardt Oval.

The Wests Tigers organization sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this change may cause and greatly appreciates the understanding of their loyal supporters.
