Legends of League induction sees Kiwi icons revered

In a momentous occasion for New Zealand Rugby League, four former Warriors players and two esteemed coaches have been immortalized in the prestigious Legends of League pantheon.

Among the celebrated figures are ex-captains Simon Mannering and Matthew Ridge, who steered both the Warriors and the Kiwis with unwavering leadership during their illustrious careers.

Joining them in the hallowed halls are winger extraordinaire Sean Hoppe and the versatile playmaker Nigel Vagana, whose talents left an indelible mark on Kiwi rugby league history.

In the coaching realm, the Legends of League pays tribute to Frank Endacott, who guided the Warriors in the late 90s, and Nathan Cayless, a former Kiwis captain turned mentor for the Warriors' New South Wales Cup squad.

The inclusion of three former Kiwi Ferns - Zavana Aranga, Tasha Davie, and Rachel White - highlights the growing strength of women's rugby league in New Zealand and adds a layer of depth to the Legends of League legacy.
