Boom NRLW rookie Chantay Kiria-Ratu, experienced back Kiana Takairangi, and powerful forward Kerehitina Matua have been named as the headline players for the Cook Islands team in this year's Pacific Championships.
Kiria-Ratu, who played her first season of NRLW with the Gold Coast Titans, showcased her talent on the global stage when representing the Cook Islands at the Rugby League World Cup last year.
The squad also includes seven players who are set to make their international debuts at the upcoming tournament.
Matua, Takairangi, and Sharks youngster Jazmon Tupou-Witchman will provide valuable guidance to the new players in the squad.
The Cook Islands Vaine Moana squad will compete in Week 2 of the tournament and will face Papua New Guinea.
This is an exciting opportunity for these talented players to showcase their skills and represent their country at an international level.
