In a remarkable year for Josh King, he achieved several significant milestones and topped the charts in various categories in the NRL.

The 27-year-old proved his worth by making the most in-season appearances for the Melbourne Storm for the second year in a row, sharing this achievement with Trent Loiero.

Not only did King excel in his appearances, but he also led the league with the highest number of decoy runs, totaling an impressive 260.

Additionally, King showcased his physicality by recording the most post-contact metres for the Storm, with a total of 982.

Defensively, King was a force to be reckoned with, amassing the second-highest number of tackles for the club, reaching a remarkable 1,014 tackles.

His efficiency was also noteworthy, with a 93% success rate.

These statistics placed him fourth in the league overall.

As a lock in the forward pack, King contributed not only in defense but also in attack.

He scored three tries throughout the season and broke through tackles on 17 occasions.

His total running metres amounted to an impressive 2,784, averaging 10 hit-ups per game.

The pinnacle of King's season came when he celebrated his 50th game in the Melbourne Storm's purple jersey during the preliminary finals.

This achievement was followed by him being awarded the Club's Forward of the Year for 2023, a testament to his outstanding contributions to the team.

With his remarkable achievements and chart-topping performances, Josh King undoubtedly had his best NRL season to date.
