Captain Kezie extends stay with Wests Tigers
Wests Tigers are thrilled to announce that NRLW Captain Kezie Apps has re-signed with the club until the end of 2029.
A true pioneer of the women's rugby league, Apps made her state and Test debuts in 2014, long before the NRLW competition was established.
Her influence on women's sports is significant; she has publicly advocated for greater support, resources, and recognition for the female game since before the NRLW's inception.
As the 2016 Dally M Medal winner, Apps joined the Wests Tigers NSW Women's Premiership team for the 2022 season and played a pivotal role in securing a premiership victory in her debut year.
Since the NRLW's inaugural season in 2018, she has emerged as one of the league's premier players, participating in 29 matches and scoring seven tries.
Additionally, Apps has represented NSW in 12 State of Origin matches and played 19 times for the Jillaroos.
