'Match the passion': Kevie's challenge to PM's XIII team

Australian coach Kevin Walters announced that the inclusion of Mitchell Moses for the upcoming Prime Minister's XIII match is a sign of respect for Papua New Guinea's rising rugby strength.

Moses joins three other Kangaroos squad members-Keaon Koloamatagi, Bradman Best, and Ethan Strange-who will participate in the annual match held at Santos National Stadium.

The Australian men's, women's, and school teams were warmly welcomed by local fans upon their arrival in Port Moresby on Friday afternoon. However, Walters recognizes that they will be viewed as the antagonists in the face of an emerging challenge posed by Papua New Guinea on Sunday.

Walters has a history with Papua New Guinea, having played there twice as part of the Kangaroos during a five-match tour in 1991 and later during a 1997 Super League pre-season game with the Broncos against the Panthers.
