The judiciary has issued several charges following Round 16 action in the NRL, with Penrith's Scott Sorensen in the spotlight due to two distinct incidents during the Panthers' match against the Warriors.

According to zerotackle.com, Sorensen faces a two-match suspension for a Grade 2 Dangerous Contact charge against Dallin Watene-Zelezniak in the 36th minute.

Additionally, he received an $1,800 fine for a separate careless high tackle on Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad in the same game, classified as a second offence, which heightened the fine.

Warriors' fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad was also charged, facing a Grade 1 careless high tackle on Thomas Jenkins in the 37th minute.

As this is his first offence, he has the option to avoid suspension by accepting a $1,000 early plea or incur a $1,500 penalty if he contests and is unsuccessful.

In another case, Knights winger James Schiller was charged with a Grade 1 careless high tackle on Souths' Oryn Keeley in the 47th minute.

Schiller is looking at a two-match suspension regardless of the outcome of a guilty plea or judicial panel decision.
