Julia Robinson's dislocated wrist has ended her Rugby League World Cup campaign after last week's win over England.
The Brisbane Broncos and Jillaroos back sustained the injury in that match.
Initial scans showed no fracture, but later imaging identified ligament damage, ruling her out for the rest of the tournament.
Robinson will undergo further medical assessment to determine her rehabilitation plan.
