Within the first 15 minutes of the match, the under-21 Sharks took control with an 18-0 lead.
They maintained their momentum throughout the game, ultimately triumphing with a 34-16 win.
This result granted them two valuable competition points, placing them four points ahead of the fifth-ranked Storm and six points ahead of the sixth-ranked Eels.
With only two rounds remaining, the Sharks are all but guaranteed a spot in the upcoming Finals series.
The Jersey Flegg competition features a five-team Finals series.
In their pursuit of a strong finish, the Sharks will face the Wests Tigers on Sunday in a crucial clash.
The Tigers, although outside of Finals contention, gave the Sharks a tough challenge in their previous encounter, narrowly losing 12-8 in round 14.
The upcoming match will take place at Lidcombe Oval, commencing at 12 noon.
The Jersey Flegg game will serve as a curtain-raiser to the KOE NSW Cup match between the Jets and Wests Magpies.
