New Parramatta head coach, Jason Ryles, is gearing up to lead the Eels into a new era, with a fresh start and a new mindset setting the tone for his reign at the club.
In his debut media conference, Ryles talked about the challenges on the horizon, including a Round 1 showdown against his former mentor, reshaping the team roster, and the quest to find a new captain.
The Eels have experienced some significant changes, with former captain Clint Gutherson now wearing the red and white of the Dragons, Reagan Campbell-Gillard taking his talents to the Titans, and Maika Sivo making his way across the pond to play in the UK.
Despite the upheaval, Ryles remains upbeat about the task of reshaping the team's identity.
"We're not starting from scratch, but we've got a clean slate to work with," Ryles told News.com.
With Ryles at the helm, the Eels will be looking to bounce back stronger and more determined than ever, ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way in the upcoming season.
