Jai Arrow Sued Over Dog Attack Incident

Three years after being attacked by Jai Arrow's dog, a 76-year-old man has initiated legal action against the South Sydney Rabbitohs star forward.

John Gowans was reportedly assaulted by Arrow's dog in 2022 on New South Wales' central coast in Bateau Bay. He has now lodged a personal injury lawsuit in the NSW District Court, claiming that Arrow is responsible for the injuries sustained by both him and his dog, as reported by The Sydney Morning Herald.

The lawsuit was reportedly filed on July 10 of this year, just three days before the filing deadline.

Although Arrow was not present during the incident, his American Staffordshire Terrier, Thor, attacked Gowans, resulting in hospital treatments for both Gowans and his pet greyhound, Ruby, who ultimately had to be euthanized due to her injuries.
