South Sydney Rabbitohs speedster, Jacob Gagai, has sealed the deal on a new contract that will see him taking his talents across the seas to the Super League competition.

It's a move that has left fans buzzing with excitement and anticipation.

Gagai, who emerged as the Rabbitohs' leading try-scorer in his debut NRL season, made his mark on the field in a big way.

After years of toiling away in the NSW Cup and waiting for his shot, Gagai finally got his chance to shine under the guidance of coaches Ben Hornby and Jason Demetriou.

The younger sibling of NRL royalty, Dane Gagai, Jacob's impressive stats speak for themselves.

With nine tries, 45 tackle busts, 15 line breaks, and two try assists under his belt, it's clear that he's got the skills to pay the bills.

"Jacob's rise to the top has been a true underdog story," his manager, Gavin Orr, shared with Wide World of Sports.

And now, as he prepares to take on a new challenge overseas, there's no doubt that Gagai will continue to make waves on the rugby league scene.

Watch out Super League, Jacob Gagai is coming for you!
