Isaiya Katoa, the young gun hailing from Penrith Panthers territory, is ready to cement his place in the rugby league world with a new contract extension until 2028.
At just 20 years old, Katoa has already made his mark in 23 matches for the club, showcasing his skills in a standout performance against the St George Illawarra Dragons earlier this season.
In that game, Katoa made 17 tackles, ran an impressive 67 metres, forced a crucial drop-out, kicked a massive 474.6 metres, and took the lead in the club's attacking plays.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Katoa will continue to don the Dolphin's jersey until 2028 on a hefty deal rumored to be around $2 million.
With his dynamic playing style, Katoa is poised to be the linchpin of the Dolphin's halves for years to come.
However, the club is yet to confirm the future of his halves partner Kodi Nikorima and Anthony Milford, both of whom are off-contract at the end of the season.
Time will tell if Katoa can lead the Dolphins to glory and become a legend in the annals of rugby league history.
