The Parramatta Eels have scored a try with the signing of Isaiah Iongi, securing the promising young talent for a solid three-year contract.

The 21-year-old powerhouse is set to hit the field for the Eels in the 2025 NRL season, with a commitment to the blue and gold jersey until at least the end of 2027.

Iongi's NRL debut in Round 22 left fans and opponents alike in awe, as he racked up an impressive 257 running metres and busted through eight tackles from the fullback position.

His stellar performance on the field is no surprise, considering his accolades as the 2023 NSW Cup Fullback of the Year, a U19s QLD Maroons representative, and the 2022 Panthers Jersey Flegg Cup Player of the Year.

With a bright future ahead of him, Iongi's signing with the Eels is a testament to the club's commitment to nurturing young talent and building a formidable team for the seasons to come.

While the Eels have chosen to stay quiet out of respect for Iongi's current club, fans can expect big things from this rising star on the Rugby League scene.
