Canterbury Bulldogs head coach Cameron Ciraldo has confirmed that Matt Burton and Viliame Kikau will be returning after the club's bye following MCL injuries.
Despite their absence, the Bulldogs have been performing well, extending their season start to five wins and zero losses with a 20-0 victory over the Newcastle Knights.
Ciraldo anticipates both players will be back for Round 7 when they face the South Sydney Rabbitohs on Good Friday, but acknowledges the challenge of fitting them back into the team.
"It looks like they [Burton and Kikau] will be back.
They had a good run today so they have a few boxes to tick this week and then hopefully they are available for selection for the Good Friday game," Ciraldo said in a post-match press conference.
