Two-year extension for Ford

LeagueNews.co | Robbie Hamilton

The Warriors have locked in second rower Jackson Ford for another two years, keeping him in the squad until the end of the 2027 NRL season.

This extension adds to a string of recent re-signings, with the likes of Ali Leiataua, Chanel Harris-Tavita, and Dallin Watene-Zelezniak all committing to the team.

Originally brought over from the St George Illawarra Dragons on a two-year deal, Ford's impressive performances in the 2023 season earned him an extension until 2025.

Despite missing just three games in his first 46 appearances for the Warriors, a knee injury unfortunately sidelined him for the final five matches of the 2024 season.

With Ford locked in for the next two years, the Warriors are hoping he can continue to be a key player in their lineup, bringing his strength and determination to the field.

The Warriors fans will no doubt be pleased to see Ford staying put and ready to tackle whatever challenges come their way.
