Hunt Expresses Frustration with Role Consistency

Ben Hunt Shares His Frustration with Current Role at the Broncos

Unreserved in expressing his thoughts, Ben Hunt has candidly addressed his situation with the Brisbane Broncos.

Although he is a specialist halfback capable of playing hooker, Hunt has only started two games in the halves this season, with the other two appearances off the bench.

The 36-year-old is clearly dissatisfied with this inconsistent role and the lack of stability it brings.

"I guess it's frustrating in some aspects," Hunt disclosed to reporters.

"I've done it before in the past throughout my career at different stages."

"I'm used to it and as frustrating as it is doing that, it's something that, like I said, I'm used to and I just have to get on with it."

Regrettably for Hunt, prospects for a more permanent spot in the starting lineup appear limited.

With Adam Reynolds and Ezra Mam favored as the primary halves, along with Corey Paix securing a two-year contract extension as hooker, Hunt's options seem constrained.

It seems he might be facing a challenging situation, potentially spending more time on the bench in the upcoming matches.
