Wallabies hooker Billy Pollard, a 22-year-old talent, is gaining attention from the Perth Bears as they prepare for their NRL debut in 2027.

According to zerotackle.com, Pollard's skills extend beyond his current role with the Brumbies in Super Rugby.

His family has deep ties to the North Sydney Bears; both his father Paul and grandfather John played for the club.

Pollard initially came through the Bears' SG Ball system before transitioning to rugby union.

With the Perth Bears set to begin their official recruitment phase on November 1, 2025, there seems to be a strong opportunity for Pollard to return to league, aligned with his family legacy.

Although he's expected to be included in Joe Schmidt's Wallabies squad for the British and Irish Lions tour, he is reportedly open to considering league options, influenced by his heritage and background.
