Ashes to Ashes: Let the green and golden tradition continue

For over a century, representing Australia has been a source of pride, from legendary players like Darren Lockyer, Australia's most-capped Kangaroo, to one-time jersey wearers. Icons such as the Little Master and Big Mal have brought excitement to fans in venues from Wembley to Wellington, embodying the heart and spirit of the green and gold.

Since the inaugural Test against Great Britain in 1908, to the hard-fought 20-14 victory over Tonga in the 2023 Pacific Championship final, the best of Australia's players have united to perform the national anthem before engaging in the battle for their country.

By the conclusion of the 2024 Pacific Championships, Australia had played a remarkable 398 Test matches, securing an impressive 276 victories.

Famed for their dynamic style and relentless drive to win, the Kangaroos have consistently faced and defeated some of the strongest competitions in rugby league.

For the talented Lockyer, whose impressive record comprises 59 Test matches, 38 of which he captained, personal accolades are overshadowed by the value of camaraderie and lasting memories.
