'Makes us believe': Hoepper inspiring future stars for NRLW chance she missed

Jenni-Sue Hoepper, although she never had the opportunity to play in the NRLW, is dedicated to ensuring that the upcoming generation of talent from North Queensland seizes that chance.

The 2015 Dally M Medallist has led the Northern Pride to the finals in their inaugural BMD Cup season, all while managing the women's rugby league excellence program at Trinity Bay State High School.

This chapter in Hoepper's life marks a full-circle moment for the former Jillaroos star and Papua New Guinea captain. She is set to retire after the Pride's season concludes, bringing her career journey back to Cairns, where it all began when she started playing at the age of 10.

Even though Hoepper never played for the Cowboys, she is now focused on nurturing young players for the club's future.
