Harry Grant, the Melbourne Storm's standout dummy half, has given a significant indication about his future as the November 1 deadline approaches.
With his contract set to expire at the end of 2026, Grant could enter the open market if he chooses to leave the Storm starting November 1.
However, uncertainty surrounds his situation, particularly as the Storm manages their salary cap following Jahrome Hughes's recent contract extension.
There's speculation that Cameron Munster might be released to the Perth Bears if he desires a move, while Ryan Papenhuyzen could also leave early to explore opportunities in rugby union within the R360 competition.
Should these moves happen, it would potentially free up funds for Grant to stay in Melbourne. Despite this, the club captain is eager to resolve his future soon.
"Nah, it's pretty good down there," he told 9News Sydney.
"I know what I'm getting out of myself at the Storm, I love the club and all the people involved. We'll see how things play out over the next couple of weeks."
