Hannay to replace Hasler as Titans coach

Cronulla and Queensland Origin assistant coach Josh Hannay has been appointed as the new head coach of the Titans for the upcoming season, succeeding Des Hasler as part of a restructured football department.

Regarded as one of the most promising coaches in the sport, Hannay boasts an impressive track record, notably serving as an assistant under Billy Slater with the Maroons, where they secured victories in three out of the last four Origin series.

Hannay comes to the Titans after his tenure with the Sharks, a team that has reached the finals every year since he joined as an assistant coach in 2021.

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell conveyed that Hannay is eager to embark on his head coaching career on the Gold Coast.
