In an epic display of leadership and strategic thinking, Storm captain Harry Grant has boldly stated that recent player changes have positioned his team on the brink of a grand final victory.

Coach Craig Bellamy, a veteran of two decades in the role, continues to shape and mold his team to perfection, with Grant proclaiming that the Melbourne Storm are primed to seize the premiership.

With increased experience, newfound confidence, and some game-changing positional adjustments, the Storm's key playmakers are brimming with belief that they have what it takes to not only reach the NRL grand final, but to emerge victorious.

Grant, who has tasted the bitter disappointment of two losing preliminary finals, is confident that the pieces of the puzzle have finally fallen into place for the minor premiers as they prepare to face off against the Sydney Roosters at AAMI Park.

While staying grounded and focused on the task at hand, Grant highlighted the impact of crucial moves such as Trent Loiero's shift to the lock position, the addition of Shawn Blore to the edge, and the rise of 21-year-old sensation Jack Howarth in the centre position.

These changes have transformed the Storm into a more well-rounded and cohesive unit, instilling a sense of confidence and unity within the team.

"We haven't surpassed the performance from last year just yet, so it's premature to claim improvement," Grant acknowledged ahead of the crucial showdown.

"But I believe we are all more self-assured in the roles on the field.

The adjustments we've made, such as Treno's move to the middle, Shawnee's transition to the back row, and Jack's emergence in the centres, have been game-changers for us.

"Furthermore, each player has gained another year of experience in the NRL, bolstering the collective understanding of what it takes to excel week in and week out as not just NRL players, but as proud representatives of the Melbourne Storm."
