Graham Commits to Newcastle Knights

Knights Hooker Harrison Graham Signs Contract Extension

Harrison Graham, the skilled hooker for the Newcastle Knights, has officially declared his commitment to the club, extending his contract for at least another season.

A notable talent, Graham was initially among the first signings for the Dolphins before transitioning to the Knights after excelling through Queensland's pathways systems. He is also a former junior State of Origin player and is beginning to showcase his abilities this season.

Having made his debut with the Dolphins in 2023 and accumulated 11 appearances over three years, Graham has climbed ahead of Matt Arthur in the ranks at Newcastle this year, already participating in six first-grade matches as part of a team exceeding expectations under coach Justin Holbrook.

Holbrook remarked on Graham's smooth integration into the squad.

"Harrison has fitted in perfectly in his first 12 months here at the club," Holbrook said.

"He fits the DNA: hardworking and very popular with the players and staff."

"We are thrilled Harrison has decided to stay with the Knights; it is a great outcome for the club, and for Harrison and his family."

Now 24 years old and originally from Lismore, the talented dummy half has excelled in his role this season, boasting a 93 percent tackling rate across his six first-grade matches, as well as contributing two try assists and forcing a drop-out, all while coming off the bench.

Although he may not surpass Phoenix Crossland in the lineup anytime soon, Graham chose to stay with the Knights despite interest from several other clubs looking to secure his signature.
