Graham Arnold joins South Sydney for goal-kicking aid

Wayne Bennett, the coaching maestro known for his bold moves and unorthodox strategies, has once again pulled a rabbit out of the hat for the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

The former Socceroos boss Graham Arnold has been enlisted to provide specialist assistance with the team's goal-kicking, in a move that has raised eyebrows across the league.

The announcement was made official by the club on Tuesday evening, confirming Arnold's part-time role with the team.

Bennett, a seasoned veteran in the coaching game, is no stranger to shaking things up to get results.

After leading the Rabbitohs to the grand final in 2021, he ventured to the Dolphins where he faced adversity but managed to defy the odds.

Now back at the helm of the Rabbitohs, Bennett is faced with a team in disarray, a team that has never quite been the same since his departure.

With his successor Jason Demetriou being shown the door mid-season in 2024, Bennett has a tough task ahead of him.

But if anyone can turn things around and lead the Rabbitohs back to glory, it's the wily old fox himself.

With Arnold's expertise in tow, the Rabbitohs will be hoping to kick their way to success under Bennett's watchful eye.
