Gold Coast Titans coach Karyn Murphy has received Queensland Rugby League life membership, announced on Thursday night.
QRL recognised her alongside Wayne Bennett, Bruce Hatcher, Mal Meninga, Des Morris and Eddie Ward.
Murphy captained Queensland through a 16-year unbeaten Interstate Challenge run against New South Wales, making 20 state appearances.
She played 27 Tests for Australia from 1998, retiring after leading the Jillaroos to their first World Cup title in 2013.
That campaign followed three previous World Cup appearances.
Her club career included 192 Souths Logan matches, all as captain, and a place in the Magpies' Hall of Fame.
After retiring, Murphy worked with Queensland and the Jillaroos, then became lead investigator at the NRL Integrity Unit.
She joined the Titans in 2022 as NRLW head coach and director of female rugby league.
Murphy has also been an Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame member since 2024.
Titans CEO Steve Mitchell said the honour reflected her contribution to Queensland rugby league.
"She was a pioneer who helped open doors for generations of women who followed, and she has continued that work as a coach, mentor and leader here at the Titans.
"We are incredibly proud that a person of Karyn's character, experience and standing is leading the NRLW program and on behalf of everyone at the Titans, I congratulate her on this very special honour."
