Mark Tuialii enters 2027 with a clear target: earning his first NRL appearance for Canberra after signing a contract extension through 2028.
The outside back joined the Raiders' pathways in 2023 and impressed during 2026, winning the NSW Cup Coaches' Award.
Tuialii is viewed as a potential future NRL starter, while his development will remain closely watched as he pushes for selection.
Canberra has also retained Malachi Smith until the end of 2028 after the forward made his NRL debut in the final round of 2026.
Smith had previously stood out in the lower grades and was named the Raiders' NSW Cup Player of the Year.
His late-season opportunity gives him a chance to build a stronger first-grade case after breaking into Ricky Stuart's squad.
Jed Stuart has secured the longest commitment, remaining with Canberra until the conclusion of 2029.
The Woden Valley Rams junior has become a regular since debuting in the NRL during 2025, making 28 appearances and scoring 11 tries.
He is also the son of Raiders coach Ricky Stuart and is expected to remain part of the club's plans.
Together, the extensions provide Canberra with continuity while it develops young players alongside its established NRL squad.
