Newest NZ Warriors NRL players Kalani Going and Paul Roache epitomise tenacity and perseverance in a way few others do.

These two players have taken the long way around to reach their NRL debuts, but their dedication has finally paid off.

According to warriors.kiwi, Going is set to make his NRL debut against the Dolphins, while Roache is also eyeing his first-grade debut off the bench in the Warriors' last regular season match.

For any player, making it into the NRL is the ultimate dream, but for Going and Roache, it seemed like a distant possibility at times.

Roache initially had a shot at the NRL with the Canberra Raiders, but circumstances led him to seek a release and return home.

Going, on the other hand, was also part of the Canberra system but eventually decided to switch to rugby union.

Despite these setbacks, both players refused to give up on their dreams and have now earned their well-deserved spots on the Warriors' roster.

Their journey showcases the resilience and determination required to succeed in the world of professional rugby league.
