From the Jungle to the Field: Tiger Finds New Home

LeagueNews.co | Cooper McEnroe

In a surprising move, former Wests Tigers forward Brandon Webster-Mansfield has reportedly found a new home in the NRL after being released from his contract.

The Tigers had initially planned to include him in their Top 30 roster for the upcoming season, but in a November shakeup, he was let go along with outside back Triston Reilly.

According to the reliable source NBWT on Twitter, Webster-Mansfield has secured a spot with the St George Illawarra Dragons.

However, the Dragons' roster is already full after signing Jesse Marschke and Raymond Faitala-Mariner, leaving Webster-Mansfield likely to join the NSW Cup side.

It's a bittersweet result for the young player who came up through the Wests Tigers development system, honing his skills in various competitions like the Harold Matthews Cup, the Laurie Daley Cup, and the Jersey Flegg Cup.

This new opportunity may just be the chance he needs to prove himself on the big stage and make a name for himself in the NRL.
