The Canterbury Bulldogs are facing yet another change, but this time it's happening off the field as chairman John Khoury considers stepping down before Sunday's AGM.

In recent years, the Bulldogs have experienced a tumultuous period both on and off the field, with their lack of finals appearances being a major concern.

Despite high hopes for a turnaround in 2023, Cameron Ciraldo's first year as head coach proved to be challenging, as the team struggled to climb up the ladder despite numerous new signings.

Director of football Phil Gould had anticipated a tough season last year, but with the club making several new signings for 2024, the expectations are now sky-high at Belmore.

While the NRL continues to scrutinize the upheaval in the playing roster, the focus has now shifted to off-field matters, with reports suggesting that Khoury may step down from his position.
