From Rabbitohs to New Heights: Trent Peoples' Leap

LeagueNews.co | Cooper McEnroe

Former South Sydney Rabbitohs second-rower Trent Peoples has made a surprising move by joining the Camden Rams in the Group 6 Rugby League competition.

Taking a hiatus from rugby league last season, Peoples has now found a new home with the Rams.

However, he will have a special outing on March 2 when he joins former NRL players Ava Seumanufagai and Shannon Gallant in representing the Macarthur Tigers against Illawarra South Coast at the Country Championships.

Having started his junior career with the Campbelltown Collegians, Peoples' exceptional performance led to him being named the Rabbitohs NSW Cup Player of the Year in 2021.

This recognition earned him his NRL debut against the Brisbane Broncos in Round 9, and he had one more opportunity to showcase his talents for the Bunnies.
