In a stunning admission ahead of the grand final, Kevin Walters, the legendary Broncos player and coach, revealed that winning a premiership as Brisbane coach would surpass all his previous achievements.

Having won five premierships as a player and leading Queensland to consecutive State of Origin victories, Walters described winning a competition as "the greatest feeling in the world." He expressed his desire for his players to experience this feeling on Sunday night when they face the Panthers, who are no strangers to the grand final stage.

Despite the credit often going to players like Adam Reynolds, Payne Haas, and Reece Walsh, Walters has played a significant role in the team's success this year.

Walters was nominated for the Dally M Coach of the Year alongside Panthers coach Ivan Cleary, but they were both beaten by Warriors rookie Andrew Webster.

Nevertheless, this does not diminish Walters' achievements this year.

As a player and coach, he has already accomplished so much, and now he wants to fulfill one final milestone with the club he loves.

In fact, he stated, "I'd much rather be preparing for a grand final than an Origin series." This statement highlights his dedication to the Broncos and his desire to achieve success at the highest level as a coach.

As the grand final approaches, Walters and his team are focused and determined to secure the ultimate victory and experience the unparalleled joy that comes with winning a premiership.
