Jaime Chapman, a star player for the NSW team, is set to participate in the women's State of Origin series despite recently suffering a spinal fracture.

Just two months ago, the injury occurred during a try for the Indigenous All Stars in Sydney, where she was accidentally hit in the back.

Despite the setback, Chapman asserts that she hasn't lost her speed and is ready to take the field on Thursday night at Suncorp Stadium.

Fans are eager to see if she can recreate her impressive performance from last year's opener, where her incredible pace allowed her to outrun the Queensland defense, scoring an 85-meter solo try.

After the injury was diagnosed through scans, Chapman underwent an intensive rehabilitation process to ensure her fitness for the Origin match.

Reflecting on her journey, she stated, "I played the All Stars and got an injury so I've been in rehab.

I got through my rehab and am ready to play.

I'm all good now.

My body is feeling good and my back's great." With this determination and her well-being, she looks to make a significant impact in the upcoming game.
