Long-time Kiwi Ferns prop Annetta Nu'uausala and cross-code Titans star Niall Williams-Guthrie have been selected for the Fetu Samoa squad in this month's Pacific Championships.

Nu'uausala, a 12-Test veteran of the New Zealand national team, will join coach Jamie Soward's group for the Test against Fiji Bulikula on October 15 in Port Moresby.

Williams-Guthrie, on the other hand, will captain the side as she becomes a dual-code international, following a long career representing New Zealand in rugby union.

Adding experience to the squad is Queensland Maroons hooker Destiny Brill, who will bring her expertise to the group.

Joining her is Wests Tigers forward Christian Pio, who has been named as the vice captain.

Both players have had impressive rookie campaigns, with Pio being part of the Titans' inaugural grand final squad.

Two rookies who have made a strong impact in the Titans' squad, winger Destiny Mino-Sinapti and utility Sienna Lofipo, have also earned their place in the Fetu Samoa squad.

Alongside them, Soward has included Auckland-based talents Onjeurlina Hunt and Makayla Eli, as well as Anasis Afia from the Samoa domestic scene.

With this strong and diverse lineup, Fetu Samoa is set to make a mark in the Pacific Championships and showcase the skills and talent of these players.
