Castleford Tigers have announced the appointment of Craig Lingard as their new head coach, with former Super League star Danny McGuire joining as his assistant.
Lingard, 45, previously served as Andy Last's assistant at Cas during the 2023 season and also had a stint as head coach of Batley.
Speaking about his new role, Lingard stated, "I'm coming in with my eyes fully wide open." He expressed his aspiration to become a head coach in Super League and is grateful for the opportunity.
Lingard's appointment comes as the Tigers look to strengthen their coaching staff ahead of the upcoming season.
McGuire's addition to the coaching team brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the club.
With Lingard at the helm and McGuire by his side, Castleford Tigers are hoping to achieve success in the Super League.
