Corey Waddell, who played as a second-row forward for the Bulldogs, is looking forward to a fresh start with the Sea Eagles after a difficult time at Canterbury.
Despite his best efforts, Waddell struggled to find success with the Bulldogs, winning just 15 out of 59 games during his three-year stint with the club.
The departure of the coach who brought him to Canterbury, Trent Barrett, added to the instability Waddell experienced during his time there.
Reflecting on his time with the Bulldogs, Waddell admitted, "It was a pretty tough time, to be honest.
I would have loved my time over there to be better." However, he also emphasized that he learned a lot from his experience at the Bulldogs, including resilience and the ability to overcome tough times.
Now, as he makes his return to Manly, Waddell is eager to bring the lessons he has learned and the experience he has gained to his new club.
