The Bulldogs will bid farewell to veteran player Raymond Faitala-Mariner, as he has been granted an immediate release by the club.
This news was confirmed by Canterbury in an official statement, where they emphasized that Faitala-Mariner has been given the opportunity to join another NRL team.
Faitala-Mariner joined the Bulldogs in 2016, leaving his hometown team, the New Zealand Warriors, after playing 12 games for them.
During his tenure with the Bulldogs, the dual Samoan and Kiwi international showcased his skills in 102 first-grade matches, managing to score 11 tries.
The St George Illawarra Dragons quickly snatched up Faitala-Mariner, expressing their excitement as they finalized a two-year contract with the forward.
