It will be the Warriors' 43rd full-capacity home match in 48 games since returning to New Zealand after COVID-19 lockdowns.
Newcastle's Kiwi players admire that momentum, although Greg Marzhew wants victory against friends and family supporting the Warriors.
"I've got plenty of friends who are Warriors' supporters too. I see stories on my socials about their wins.
"So I want to get this win because I want to rub it in," Marzhew said.
Phoenix Crossland and Francis Manuleleua cheered against the Warriors last week, hoping another Auckland match would follow.
"I reckon they want me to score three tries and hope the Warriors win," Wellington-born Crossland said.
Pasami Saulo's partner has even worn a Warriors jersey, while Kalyn Ponga named them as his preferred second premiership team.
Manuleleua praised the Warriors' culture and their hostile home support, but Newcastle remain confident after leading 12-0 before losing 46-32.
The Knights had Jacob Saifiti sent off, while both teams had significant absences.
Manuleleua's appearance is remarkable after he dislocated his elbow in Auckland three weeks ago.
"I want to do it right, play 80 minutes and put out a good performance for the boys and for my family and bring back the win," he said.
The Warriors' rise has also strengthened expectations that a second New Zealand team could enter an expanded 20-team NRL.
