In a thrilling match, the North Sydney Bears and the South Sydney Rabbitohs emerged victorious to secure their spots in the Grand Final of The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup.

Despite facing a fast-finishing Warriors side, the Bears managed to hold on for a 28-24 win in today's Preliminary Final.

The fans at Leichhardt Oval were treated to an intense battle, with the Bears starting strong by scoring three unanswered tries before halftime to take an 18-0 lead.

However, the Warriors fought back in the second half, piling on the points and setting up an exciting finish.

With just three minutes left on the clock, the Warriors' centre Ali Leiataua scored their fourth try, adding to the tension of the game.

The Rabbitohs, who defeated the Bears in last week's Major Semi-final, now eagerly await the Grand Final at CommBank Stadium on Sunday, 24th September 2023.

This clash between the two foundation clubs promises to be an epic showdown.
