Canberra Raiders half Matt Frawley #371, who has played 21 matches for the club since his return in 2020, will be departing at the end of the 2023 season.

Frawley, who played his junior representative football with the Raiders, initially made his NRL debut for the Bulldogs in 2017, where he made 31 appearances over two seasons.

In 2019, he played a season for Huddersfield in the Super League before returning to Canberra.

Frawley expressed his gratitude to the Raiders for giving him the opportunity to come back to the club and stated that he has thoroughly enjoyed his time with the NRL squad.

The news was reported by raiders.com.au, and it signifies a significant change for Frawley as he moves on to a two-year deal with an English Super League club.
