England Rugby League has confirmed that both the men's and women's teams will be taking on France in Toulouse on Saturday June 29, in a nod to the 90-year history of rugby league in the country.
The matches are set to be a celebration of the game, with England Women facing off against France at 2.30pm UK time, followed by England Men at 5pm UK time at the Stade Ernest-Wallon.
This announcement comes after both the men's and women's teams last clashed with France in April 2023 in a double-header in Warrington, where they both emerged victorious with impressive 64-0 score-lines.
The last time England took on France in their own turf was back in 2021, with the men securing a 30-10 win in Perpignan, and the women dominating with a 40-4 victory.
"I am thrilled that the England teams have been invited to join in the 90th anniversary celebrations.
Huge thanks to the FFR XIII for extending this invitation, and here's to another 90 years of rugby league success," said a spokesperson for England Rugby League.
