Metanoia Fotu-Moala, a front rower for NZ Warriors, has extended her stay with the club for the 2026 NRLW season, according to warriors.kiwi.
Fotu-Moala, who was signed after showcasing her talent in local football last year, made her NRLW debut this season as one of 16 newcomers. Despite facing a challenging season, she has impressed, leading the Warriors to activate her contract option for 2026.
There is also a chance for a third season in 2027 due to a mutual option. Initially ruled out of the season's opening round because of her wedding, Fotu-Moala's plans were further affected by injury. However, she made a strong impact in her five games, particularly in her first match as Warrior #68 against the Titans in round four.
Throughout her five matches-three as a starting prop and two as a bench player-Fotu-Moala averaged 32 minutes of play, covering 89 metres and making 13 tackles per game, with an impressive tackle efficiency of 96 percent.
