In a significant shakeup for Game Two, Queensland's coach Billy Slater restructured his forward pack after their opening loss at Suncorp Stadium.

Trent Loiero, who has been named to start at lock, expressed excitement about playing alongside Josh Papalii.

Slater's adjustments included moving Cowboys standout and Broncos leader Pat Carrigan to the bench, along with inserting the experienced Kurt Capewell into the backrow.

For the decider, Loiero, Capewell, and Carrigan will reprise their roles from Game Two, while veteran Josh Papalii, who has come out of retirement, will join Tino Fa'asuamaleaui to strengthen the front line.

This strategic reconfiguration aims to bolster Queensland's performance after their initial setback.
