The player was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital as a precautionary measure due to a significant concussion and a possible neck injury.
Fortunately, imaging results showed no structural damage, easing concerns.
Flanagan will be closely monitored by the club's medical team in line with NRL concussion protocols as they determine his return-to-play timeline.
He is expected to travel back home with his teammates today.
