Fitzgibbon Extends Contract with Sharks to 2029

Fitzgibbon to remain at helm for further two seasons

Craig Fitzgibbon will continue as head coach of the Sharks for two more seasons.

He has signed a contract extension that keeps him at the club until at least 2029.

Since joining the Sharks before the 2022 season, Fitzgibbon has led the team to the NRL finals in each of his first four years.

With 108 top-grade games under his belt, he has the third-longest tenure as a Sharks head coach.

Currently preparing for an upcoming match against the Raiders, Fitzgibbon is eager to embrace the challenges ahead.

Sharks Chairman Steve Mace expressed his excitement in extending Fitzgibbon's contract, confirming the club's commitment to its football program.
